Our Installation Process
1. Initial Contact
Customers can get in touch via email, text, or phone call. I arrange a convenient time to visit, free of charge, to suit the customer’s work schedule.
2. Site Visit & Quotation
During the visit, I carry out a full survey and provide professional advice. A fully itemised quotation is then sent, clearly breaking down costs, specifications, and available options for stoves, hearths, and finishes. Examples of similar completed installations are included where relevant.
3. Confirmation
Following customer feedback, I confirm the exact requirements and final costs and issue an updated quotation if required.
4. Booking the Work
Once confirmed, a slot is booked—typically two full days—usually scheduled 2–3 weeks after confirmation.
5. Installation
We arrive on time on the agreed dates, fully prepare and protect the room (including plastic sheeting where required), and complete the work exactly as specified.
6. Handover & Demonstration
A convenient time is arranged to demonstrate the appliance, explain its operation, and hand over all documentation, including; invoice, HETAS certificates, Data plates (This can be done in the evening if needed.)
7. Payment
Payment is completed via online banking.
8. Ongoing Care
A service or chimney sweep is normally booked for 12 months later, ensuring continued safe and efficient operation.
